Naturally, we are very pleased as more and more of our guests report so nicely there time on board Pacific Sunrise. Here is an excerpt from a recent posting:
We've just returned from a trip aboard Pacific Sunrise and - after finding it so hard to find independent reviews on here for the trip before we booked - thought it might be useful to briefly pass on our thoughts for anyone else considering the trip.
We left Airlie on a Sunday in May for a 3 day 3 night trip and had the most incredible time.
The boat itself is just beautiful, very traditionally styled and surprisingly spacious. We stayed in one of the middle-grade cabins (Deloraine) which had a double bed and a single bed above (very useful for storing our cases!) The room had its own en suite with a shower, toilet and sink. As I ocassionally get quite claustrophobic in small spaces I was a little concerned about being on board any boat for this period of time with 16 other guests, but can honestly say I never felt bothered at all as the rooms were all very light and airy with plenty of room.
The food on board the boat was some of the best we ate during our whole trip to Oz. Each night we were served a full 3 course meal which was, without exception, exquisite and could easily rival any restaurant's offerings.
